Dr.Robert Starkwood has 10 years of experience working with quantum technologies, starting at the Universities of Glasgow and Heriot-Watt buildingsuperconducting nanowire single photon detector systems and co-integrating them with quantum photonic circuits. Following 4 years at the National PhysicalLaboratory researching the implementation security of QKD devices, Robert is now at KETS Quantum Security Ltd in Bristol. As Senior Integrated PhotonicsEngineer he is helping to drive the development and deployment of chip-to-chip QKD systems.
