Tobias Gehring is Associate Professor at the Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)and co-founder of Alea Quantum Technologies. He received his degree in Physics in 2009 from the University ofHeidelberg and his PhD degree in 2013 from the Leibniz University Hannover. He is project manager of CryptQ, aproject funded by Innovation Fund Denmark which aims at developing continuous-variable quantum key distributionsystems in collaboration with Danish industry and academic partners. He is an expert in continuous-variable quantumcommunication with coherent, squeezed and entangled light and digital receivers.
